Our reforestation project in Africa
Terragrow plans to expand farmland in Namibia and South Africa.
These regions are characterized by their fertile soil and existing network of active agricultural projects, making them ideal locations for agricultural investments.
In the north of Namibia, the altitude of the Otavi Mountains of up to 2,100 meters above sea level means that the annual rainfall is exceptionally high by Namibian standards at over 600 millimeters. Compared to most of the rest of the country, these climatic conditions create ideal conditions for intensive agriculture. The particularly fertile soil and abundant groundwater resources enable large-scale dry farming.
The Midlands in Kwazulu Natal is also an ideal location for Terragrow due to existing reforestation projects.
With this project, Terragrow aims to create new jobs, infrastructure and modern cultivation methods as well as making a positive contribution to climate policy through reforestation. The aim is also to achieve a good return for the shareholders.
